Objectives:

Warehouses are designed to provide optimal storage conditions for various medical products. They ensure that products are stored in a controlled environment, protecting them from temperature fluctuations, humidity, light exposure, and contamination. Advanced shelving systems and storage layouts maximize space utilization while minimizing the risk of damage or deterioration.

The warehouse comprises store areas for raw materials, secondary and primary packing material, Capsules and finished goods storage area. Moreover, separate zones are dedicated by status as for example; the quarantined, approved goods, rejected materials, returned products, flammable, cold store and cool store.

Responsibilities:

  1. To ensure that cGSP/cGMP practices are followed in the Warehouse department.
  2. To follow current Good Storage Practice (cGSP) to increase Warehouse efficiency.
  3. To increase the optimal utilization of resources, space, and processes within a warehouse facility to maximize productivity, minimize costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  4. Maximizing effective use of space, equipment & employees.
  5. Maximizing accessibility of all materials and produsts.
  6. Maximizing protection of all stored materials and produsts.
  7. To ensure that safety practices are followed during material receiving, storage and dispensing.
  8. Co-ordinate for availability of raw materials / packing materials as per production need.
  9. To ensure timely supply of raw material and packing material as per requirement.
  10. To ensure stock are updated timely.
  11. To ensure lock and keys area are strictly maintained.
  12. To ensure status of material timely updated with co-ordination with quality control.
  13. To ensure complete documentation maintained for receipt and storage and dispatch of finished goods received from production.
  14. Finally, perform overall activity to achieve organization’s goal on time and in full.
